(Luke 6:32) “If you love those who love you, what benefit is that to you? For even sinners love those who love them.
Sometimes in life, we may come across people who are very difficult to love. such people could be very Annoying, Abusive, Judgemental, Always self seeking, Gossips, Envious, Competitive, Bossy, Oppressive and so on; so much so that, the mere sight of them can spoil your day.
While there is no doubt that behaviours like these can lead to hatred, the bible tells us in the book of
2Corithians 2:11 so that Satan will not outsmart us. For we are familiar with his evil schemes.
Such behaviours can make us fall into the temptation of Hatred, quarrelling, Malice, unforgiveness and bitterness so that if care is not taking on our part, we could loose our salvation. God forbid!
Jesus Christ told his disciples in
(Mark 14:38) Watch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation. The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak."
Don't try to avoid them, don't fight with them, don't return their evil for evil, but rather do good to them.
Romance 12:20-21 20"BUT IF YOUR ENEMY IS HUNGRY, FEED HIM, AND IF HE IS THIRSTY, GIVE HIM A DRINK; FOR IN SO DOING YOU WILL HEAP BURNING COALS ON HIS HEAD." 21Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.
I have tried this biblical method and it worked!
You may even feel like giving up your goodness to them at some point when it seems not to be working out, by I charge you today to continue because you will definitely see your desired result.
(Galatians 6:9) Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. God Bless you richly!
